Adelynn Rodriguez, a junior at El Paso Eastwood High in Texas, placed 10th in the girls sweepstakes race by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 18:12.2 at the Desert Twilight Festival at Toka Sticks Golf Course in Mesa, Ariz. It marked the first career top-10 finish at Desert Twilight Festival in three career appearances for Rodriguez.
